Terms of Service

1. The Service

oneshotsite lets you create simple websites that display a single image, reachable at a subdomain of oneshotsite.com and, optionally, at a custom domain you control. Features include image history, redirects, social links, and slideshows.

2. Your account

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your email or sign-in provider secure. You must provide accurate information and be capable of forming a binding contract.

3. Your content and license

You retain ownership of the images and content you upload. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, reproduce, and publicly display that content solely to operate and provide the Service. You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to everything you upload and that it does not infringe any third party’s rights.

4. Custom domains

If you attach a custom domain, you represent that you own or control it and are responsible for its registration and DNS configuration. You are responsible for any fees charged by your domain registrar.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• upload or distribute content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or sexually exploitative;
• distribute malware, run phishing or fraud, or impersonate others;
• violate others’ intellectual property, privacy, or other rights;
• abuse, overload, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.

6. Public content

Sites you create are public, including their image history. You are responsible for ensuring you are comfortable making any uploaded content publicly available.

7. Contributions and shared galleries

Some galleries let their owner invite other people to contribute photos and videos (for example, a shared memorial gallery). If you contribute content to a gallery you do not own:

• You represent that you own or have the rights to the content you upload and that sharing it does not violate anyone's rights (including copyright, privacy, and publicity rights).
• You grant the gallery owner and oneshotsite a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute that content as part of the gallery. The gallery may be publicly viewable.
• Your name (as you enter it) is displayed alongside the content you add.

Gallery owners control their galleries: they may review, approve, decline, or remove any contribution, and may remove a contributor's access at any time. Owners are responsible for the content that appears on their galleries. We may remove any content or disable any gallery or account that we believe violates these Terms or the law. 8. Plans and limits

The Service may be offered with usage limits (for example, a limit on the number of sites a free account may create). We may change limits and introduce paid plans in the future.

9. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, oneshotsite will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless oneshotsite from any claims or damages arising out of your content or your use of the Service in violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your sites at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others or to the Service.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
